If you had told college athlete me that one day I’d be writing a blog about hormone health, blood sugar balance, and making homemade sourdough for my toddler, I would have laughed and taken another swig of black coffee on an empty stomach.
But here we are.
I grew up in the world of sports, competing as a Division 1 athlete, where performance was everything. I learned to push my body to its limits, but I didn’t exactly learn how to nourish it. Like so many women, I spent years chasing the “perfect” body, skipping meals, using coffee as a meal replacement (oops), and completely ignoring my hormones. What started as a desire to be fit turned into an unhealthy cycle of restriction and overexercise. And spoiler alert: my body did not love that.
Fast forward to today—I’m a mom, a wife, and someone who actually enjoys eating food for energy instead of counting every calorie. I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that true health isn’t about being the smallest version of myself; it’s about feeling strong, energized, and at home in my body.
Balancing my hormones, healing my metabolism, and unlearning years of diet culture wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. Now, I’m here to share everything I’ve learned—without the extremes, without the guilt, and with plenty of real-life mom moments in between.
So if you’re looking for a place that celebrates wellness without the obsession, where eating well doesn’t mean eating perfectly, and where we can talk about blood sugar and brownies in the same breath—welcome. I’m so glad you’re here.
Now, let’s eat, play, live, and THRIVE.
